Softening the Diamond-Shaped Layout with Curved Lines for a Warm Family Home
The new layout provides ample storage while creating a warm, comfortable, and playful environment for everyone.
The open-plan kitchen was enclosed with transparent glass partitions. This helps prevent the child and pet from entering the kitchen area, while allowing the parents to keep an eye on their child playing in the living room as they prepare meals—enhancing both safety and family interaction.
In the dining area, a round dining table is paired with a curved banquette that provides built-in storage. To soften the asymmetrical shape of the diamond-shaped living room, a crescent-shaped sofa was selected to echo the curved design of the dining area. The gentle lines create a more harmonious and cohesive atmosphere throughout the living space.
