Modern Nordic Living in Cream and Light Wood
With functionality and everyday living at the heart of the design, each area has been carefully planned to integrate storage, work, and lifestyle needs into a comfortable and flexible home.
The apartment features an open-plan kitchen. However, placing a conventional dining table in the space would reduce its flexibility and usable floor area. To address this, the designer introduced a movable island cabinet that provides additional storage and can also extend to reveal a dining table when needed. This allows the space to adapt easily between daily activities, meal preparation, and dining.
As storage space in the living and dining area is limited, platform floors were incorporated into both bedrooms to provide additional storage capacity. In the study, an L-shaped desk makes effective use of the corner while offering a generous work surface.
The master bedroom accommodates a four-and-a-half-foot bed together with an L-shaped wardrobe that provides ample clothing storage.
