An All-White Serene Home for the Minimalist

Minimalism is more than just a home style, it is considered as a lifestyle in the eyes of the owners of this 2-bedrooms apartment. Home is a space for living with family, not for storing stuff. The owners advocate their home to have an all white, spacious and minimal aesthetics which reflects their lifestyle.

The challenge of this apartment is to create a white and minimal design with sophisticated and refined details. The designer elevated the space by embellishing a touch of metal and clear glass.

The owener asked for a space that would be minimal and spacious where they could look forward to coming back to. Designer incorporated the loose furniture in pure white, including dining table, TV cabinet and sofa,  so as to create a light and airy feel.

In order to optimize natural light flows between the living room and bedroom, a bedroom behind the sofa was transformed into a semi-open kid’s room. With a sky blue painted wall and glass partition, it helps interconnect two independent space, by bringing a sense of fluidity and breadth to the space.

The main storage space is focused on the master bedroom. By providing an abundance of storage space but not sacrificing the sense of spaciousness, the designer opted for a stylish platform bed. Walnut wood platform paired with navy blue upholstered headboard, allows the owner a restrained retreat.
